Our service My Treat 2 U is run and managed by volunteers who have a passion for helping people who are in need, and in doing so we love the feeling it gives us back

We understand sometimes the donations options can be confusing when you are looking at them the first time. So when it came to developing the options, we created them in a way where you the donator can get the most out of them as well as maximising the help you will be providing the clients. 

Please drop us a message and we will provide you more information on anything you may not be sure about.

A Non Pledge donation is where you pay your donation straight away after choosing which donation option you would like to go with. Soon as you provide the donation we will then find the client by liaising with our partners (food banks). Once a suitable client has been found we will then communicate with them to fulfil our service  

The Pledge donation is when you let us know you are interested in donating at some point in the future. We do not take any donation payment from you. This type of donation just requires you to complete a form providing your name and contact details as well as what date you would like to be contacted to make a Non Pledge Donation. Please note its not a mandatory requirement to make a donation when we  contact you, if you change your mind by then its not an issue.

Not a penny you donate will go on any running costs for our service. The only extra you pay on top of your donation is a small transaction fee which is paid to our 3rd party company who ensure your payments are transferred safely.

We do not share any of your details with clients or any food banks. The clients or the food banks will not know who the donations have come from.

When you make a donation to us we quickly move on to finding a suitable candidate based on which donation option you have selected. This may not be instant as it will require waiting for food banks to provide us with suitable candidates. If you have selected to partner with other donators then it will take some time for other partners to match the donation option you have chosen so we can fulfil the donation.

Soon as these 2 have been provided to us you will get informed a client has been found, As long as you don’t get this message from us then you can ask for your donation back which we will transfer back to your within 24 hours. You will need to email us your Non Pledge donation reference number.

If you have been informed a client has been found, unfortunately we cannot issue your money back as by this point we have fully committed to the food bank and client to fulfil the service.

No fellow donating partners will have access to any of your personal details unless you give consent. If consent is given by yourself to allow some of your personal information to be shared then the only information that will be shared is wither your first name. surname or the county your from.

We will ask you if you want permission to be shared before we find the clients, if you do not answer we will take it as a no so no details will be shared.

Yes you will. Once orders for clients have been fulfilled and enjoyed if there is any change left over we will send it back to your account. If there is more than 1 Donator involved then we will send back the change equally to all donators. We will send you a message about this after orders have been enjoyed by either SMS or Email.

Contact with all clients will be made by either SMS or email. When we locate clients from food banks we make sure they are contactable by these 2 options so client must have a phone or email to be chosen.

Absolutely not. No information will be passed about you to any donators unless you give consent.

As a giving organisation we want to make the service as transparent as possible and would like to let donators know where they donations have gone.

If you did give consent for donators to know who where there donations have gone then entirely up to you what information you would like to share about yourself and we would ask you this once you have enjoyed your treat.

The only information we would pass over about you is either your first name, last name or the county you are from, again if we don’t hear from you we will take is as you have not given consent so we will not share any of your details to donators.

As part of our service we also ask if you would like to pass any messages to the donators for their kind donations. This is totally optional and if you do pass any messages this is only passed over to the donators involved that paid towards the treat.

Messages will be received to donators via Email or SMS, no names or county information will be given unless you consent is given by yourself which we will always ask you after you enjoy your treat.

You will just provide us with which food service you would like to order from as well as what you would like to enjoy from their menu.

We will send you detailed instructions via SMS or Email on instructions how to do this. We will keep you updated letting you know once order has been placed. The only thing you will need to do is confirm to us when your order has been delivered to your address. You will do this by sending us SMS or Email

You will send us a SMS or Email telling us there is a issue with the food order giving a description what the issue is. We will then sort out the issue as best we can and let you know once its been resolved.

You will be given a specific amount you can spend for your order from a menu, this will be the amount the donator or donators have chosen for you, the order must not exceed the donation amount,  the order will be rejected if orders are over in the verification process. You will be notified of this via SMS or Email

Any access funds available after order has been paid for are transferred back to donator or donators on a equal bases if more than 1 donator.

There is also choices in the menu which we will not accept as a treat which includes anything alcoholic, if anything other than food is ordered like alcoholic drinks the order will be rejected in the verification process and you will be notified by SMS and Email.
